This small series includes Newspapers and newspaper clippings collected by David Sandoval through the years from 1971-2008. The series is organized into two subseries: a. Newspapers and b. Newspaper Clippings. Some of the issues included are The Chronical of Higher Education, El Partido La Raza Unida Habla, El Popo and La Gente. El Popo newspaper was first published in 1970 by students concerned about the lack of Chicano perspective newspapers. La Gente is a publication from UCLA, which has provided news and opinion of minority from UCLA since 1971.
