Scope and Contents
This small series is organized into two subseries: a. Programs/Flyers and b. News Releases and Press Releases. Included in the series are various events that took place at California State University, Los Angeles such as A Cultural Diversity Day Event in Celebration of Malcolm X, Presentation and information on assistant directors training program, The Chicano Movement Cal State LA 1998, Cal State LA and four brown hats present The Last Angry Brown Hat play produced by Ernesto Quintero in 1998. This series also includes press releases on the film Break of Dawn based on the true story of Pedro J. Gonzalez, a Los Angeles radio star who was falsely imprisoned because he spoke out against corrupt Los Angeles officials during the Depression.
