This series is organized into two subseries: a. Alphabetical and b. Oversized Awards & Plaques. The awards range from plaques, frames, and medals Julian Dixon received throughout his career. He was honored and received awards from Crenshaw High School, the Congressional Black Caucus, Inglewood Democratic Club, National Black History Week Award, Watts Health Foundation, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Defense Intelligence Award, and the Olympic Games.
